Quality Control

By using state-of-the-art control systems in manufacturing, CPST provides polymers or master batches with minimum lot-to-lot variations. This can assure uniform quality of the finished products produced with our polymers or master batches.

Our contract compounder has TS 16949 /ISO 2002 certification and is also producing compounds for auto parts for Nissan and Hyundai Motor, as well as electronic parts for Samsung Electronics.

CPST utilizes a proprietary Product Quality Management (PQM) system in the manufacture of all products at our contract compounders
Key elements of PQM:
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Cumulative Sum (CUSUM) measurement system
• Minimizing deviations from aim during production

Lot Quality Control includes checking the basic properties of every lot. This includes Melt Index (MI), Pellet size, Moisture Content, and Tensile Properties. Foam is evaluated for Hardness, Density, Split Tear, Compression Set, and Shrinkage.
